League Race #2 - Port of Redwood City

The drive takes about an hour in the very early morning and can take about an hour and a half in the afternoon depending on traffic. 
 
It is possible that the weather will be rainy on Saturday. The teams will still be racing if it is rainy, but would stop if the wind gets strong.  The coaches will decide as the race day proceeds.  It would be a good idea to pack some towels and a spare outfit for team members to wear home in case they get really wet.  Wearing JLs under uniforms is recommended as well.
 
The racecourse does not have a large viewing area and families should bring folding chairs, and of course given the weather, should dress for rain. Parents should look for the yellow crew banner which will be on the tents by the food table.    Food will be provided only to the team at the food tents so families should bring food and drinks for themselves.   Photographers should bring their cameras.
