Mary Glaeser offers this history of the facilities used by Berkeley Crew:

LMRC –Lake Merritt Rowing Club inthe building that now houses the Lake Chalet Restaurant. (A fee was paid for each participant each year for use of the facility and boats – Women owned few boats and only one was regularly stored at LMRC.)
CAL Boathouse – the original CAL men’s boathouse in Oakland.
GI – Outdoor facility off Government Island.
MV – Alameda Dock a floating dock off Marina Village with no indoor facility very minimal fee.
AP – Aquatic Park sailboat house from City of Berkeley.
JLAC – Jack London Aquatic Center.
